The Florida People’s Hearing and Organizing Revival Boot Camp is a statewide effort to train, connect, and mobilize community organizers and leaders to build durable, people-powered organizing across Florida.

In response to the urgency of this political moment, the bootcamp represents a shared investment in expanding the reach and deepening the practice of community organizing while defining and building the future we want.

Our goal is to listen to and train 500 Floridians who are ready to lead, strengthen their communities, and help build the Florida we want to live in.

Frequenly Asked Questions

The People’s Hearing Tour is a public expression of testimonies and cultural celebration, uplifting community-based solutions and strategies to build the Florida we want to live in. At the Florida People’s Hearing, Floridians will identify policy priorities that communities can work towards together, talk to elected officials to testify to the threats to our lives and land, and lay the groundwork for policies and movements that will secure the conditions we want for ourselves and our communities.

The Organizing Revival Bootcamp is a collective effort to train, connect, and unleash thousands of people who can build durable, people-powered organizations in all communities. It represents a joint investment in expanding the reach and deepening the practice of community organizing to meet the urgency of this political moment.

Florida is at a turning point. Across the state, people are facing growing threats to their rights, livelihoods, and the land and communities they love. At the same time, organizers and community leaders are stepping up to build the Florida we actually want to live in. This is a critical moment, and our goal is to train 500 Floridians who are ready to lead!

The Florida People’s Hearing and Organizing Revival Bootcamp builds on our pro-democracy organizing strategy and prepares us for the long game: strengthening networks, testing new tactics, and building the collective power needed to defend and expand democracy.

This training and action will allow us to:

  • Ground statewide priorities in local fights and base-building efforts
  • Test organizing pivots in live conditions
  • Deepen alignment across labor, faith, racial justice, immigrant justice, and many more community partners
  • Strengthen coordinated action capacity ahead of upcoming national moments

We are asking each organization to actively recruit participants from Florida — including staff, members, worker-leaders, faith leaders, and emerging community organizers who are ready to sharpen skills and plug into sustained pro-democracy organizing. This is a chance to bring new people into the work!
