Paula Muñoz was born in Bogota, Colombia, and when she was 7 years old. As an immigrant, her passion has been to fight for the rights of all immigrants who like her and her family, came for safety and in hopes of a better life in the U.S. She became involved in the immigrant rights in 2011 while organizing with youth against mass incarceration and prison divestment with Students Working for Equal Rights. As the Director of Campaigns she works with a team of issue based organizers and coordinators who are strategically building power to push national, statewide and local policy around issues that impact our membership and communities.
