Visitation Programs in Florida
Friends of Miami-Dade Detainees (FOMDD)
As of November 2013, the Friends of Miami-Dade Detainees Visitation Program at Krome Processing Detention Center has been formally approved by ICE.
We support the work of the Unitarian Universalist Church and its Social Justice Committee to drive the detention movement forward in Florida.

Friends of Broward Detainees (FOBD)
Since July 2013, the vision for a similar program like FOMDD at the Broward Transitional Center (BTC) was shepherded forward by Christine Ho, current coordinator for the Friends of Broward Detainees. A formal proposal was submitted in November 2013 to ICE with approval pending.
