Weaving Communities
FLIC Congress 2021

It’s that time of year again! We are preparing for an exciting 3 PART FLIC Congress this year! During FLIC Congress, over 200 of our members and allies get together to connect, share, and strategize on how to advance the rights of immigrants in Florida. This is our largest membership event of the year and as we adjust to these trying times we know we can count on our unity to give us the strength to overcome. We are ready to take this on together and we want you to be a part of it!
Weaving is the making of a wholesome, connecting the different threads of life, the various pathways that bring us to this moment together. It is also the strengthening of each of one of us, as we become fundamental to our collective fabric.
Weaving communities is our coalition in practice, interlaced by a shared commitment to make Florida a true home for all.
This year there will be 3 opportunities to engage and connect at our FLIC Annual Congress 2021:

Thank you for your interest in our Break Bread Gatherings.
These gatherings will be hosted in person to spark community, connection, and conversation over a meal.
We are looking for 50 committed hosts to hold these gatherings all over the state!
We will virtually train you on November 13th so you can have all the tools for a successful Break Bread Gathering in your home, park, or venue of choice. If you prefer, you can also have a virtual gathering. FLIC will sponsor the meal, you choose the site, time of day, you invite the people and choose the subject of conversation from a curated list.
The Break Bread Gatherings will happen all on the same day (November 20th), all over Florida!
