Florida is not only an epicenter for Climate Change, but it is also home to many climate refugees, including Haitians who survived the 2010 earthquake and Puerto Ricans who left the island after Hurricane Maria devastated the island. From the Root campaign advances a holistic approach to climate justice, centering the different living experiences of Black and Brown communities and elevating the urgency of climate action.
